FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN - $28-$30 PER HOUR, JULIA MOODY
We are currently hiring for full-time senior Security systems technician in Mississauga, ON. The candidate must have 3 to 5 years’ experience working in the industry servicing commercial   Security Alarms and CCTV systems

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Prepares for service by reviewing job work order, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools; coordinating schedule with customers.
• Services equipment for security alarm system by running and pulling wiring; connecting devices, programming, calibrating and testing equipment
• Verifies security/fire alarm system functionality by confirming equipment connections and signals; identifying and correcting problems.
• Documents installation and maintains records.
• Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions.
• Maintains safe and secure work environment by following safe practices and company safety policy.
• Strictly keeps customer and company security information confidential.
• Keeps supplies ready by checking inventory and stock; placing orders; verifying receipts
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
• Accomplishes organization goals as assigned by Supervisor. Must be proactive in taking ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job and company.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License with clean abstract
• General knowledge of security Alarm,  and CCTV equipment,  testing, repairing, service experience  preferred
• Minimum 3 years related Canadian work experience performing field repairs, trouble shooting, and fault tracing;
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal;
• Strong ability to trouble shoot and diagnose problems;
• Ability to work well with team members or unsupervised within a flexible work environment
 Skills / Specific aptitudes:

• Oriented towards the achievement of the company's objectives;
• Good organizational skills and time management;
• Ability to plan, organize, oneself;
• Ability to solve problems;
• Ability to deal with demanding clients in a professional manner
• Excellent business judgment;
