ACCOUNT MANAGER - PUMPS MOTORS

Do you thrive on exceeding sales targets and innovating to grow your client base? If so, our client wants you to join their team as a Senior Account Manager in Calgary.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be at the forefront of the business, managing and growing relationships with clients. Your ability to anticipate and meet client and business needs, coupled with your forward-thinking and innovative approach, will drive your success in this role. You will work with a diverse range of clients, from End Users and Distribution Partners to Consulting Firms and OEMs across Alberta.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain productive, professional relationships with clients to achieve sales targets.
  • Focus on sales to End Users, Distribution Partners, Consulting Firms, and OEMs throughout Alberta.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including inside sales, support, and management, to meet account performance objectives and customer expectations.
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and address customer needs continuously.
  • Develop and execute strategic customer account plans that meet company standards.
  • Negotiate terms of sale within authorized limits.
  • Meet with new and existing clients to expand business relationships.
  • Stay updated on current products, features, industry trends, and company standards.
  • Provide market feedback to improve products and services.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in an Engineering discipline and/or 5 years of experience in a strategic sales environment is preferred.
  • Experience with electric motors and industrial sales is desirable.
  • A client-focused, motivated team player with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Excellent presentation skills for delivering information to clients.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, including MS Dynamics CRM.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.
