Job Description

Role Overview: As a Plastic Fabricator, you will be responsible for the precise cutting, bending, and welding of materials such as PVC, Polypropylene, PVDF, and Teflon. This position is based in a vibrant, well-equipped workshop where your contributions will directly impact our product quality and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble various plastic components by cutting, welding, and bending.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Collaborate closely with design engineers to translate concepts into functional products.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Problem-solve and troubleshoot as needed to meet project specifications.
Qualifications

Requirements: 

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a solid background in welding PVC, polypropylene, and Teflon.
  • Proficiency in hot air welding techniques.
  • A robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand and execute blueprints in collaboration with design engineers.
  • Hands-on experience with various tools such as drills, routers, tape measures, and table saws.
  • Willingness to travel domestically on occasion.

Additional Skills Appreciated:

  • Experience in cabinet making or carpentry will be considered an asset but the other requirements must still be met.
